Visiting a Church of Scientology

Scientology Churches are open friendly places. We are open 7 days a week, 365 days a year and you can come in and find out more. We have a public information section where you can come in, check it out and ask questions. We have a public film room where you can watch free films which detail what Scientology applied religious philosophy and Dianetics spiritual healing technology are. We offer introductory lectures and you can also have a stress test to find out what is ruining your life. We encourage anyone who is interested in the religious philosophy of Scientology to buy a book from our bookstore or even to borrow one from your local library.

Scientology Sunday Service

Each Church has a Sunday Service. This consists of a sermon from the religious philosophy of Scientology. This could be on such wide ranging principals such as from life after death, the importance of communication and what good communication consists of, the spiritual nature of mankind, how the mind works – plus much more. Also a very unique counselling is given by a trained Minister. You can find the schedule for the exact time for the service in your local church here.

Scientology Ceremonies

Scientology churches offer wedding services, funeral services and naming ceremonies. You do not have to be a Scientologist to request any of these and while similar to the rituals of other faiths, they have their unique components.

Scientology Counselling

We have areas designated for spiritual counselling, called auditing in Scientology. Auditing is designed to get rid of the things from the past – including times of pain, illness and unconsciousness, that are adversely affecting you in the present without you even being aware of it. Understanding yourself and the choices you made is a central and very special part of achieving spiritual awareness.

Self Improvement Courses

We also have several course rooms, where courses in the various aspects of Scientology can be taken – including how to start, maintain or repair a marriage courses for couples, courses on communication, how to study, how to rear happy healthy children and more advanced courses on the spiritual nature of man and the mind.

Each Church also trains counsellors and volunteer ministers and people who can go out and help others.
